Surgical Weight Loss Clinic

Surgical Weight Loss ClinicDoes my auto insurance compensation for surgical weight loss surgery?

I live in Michigan and have no fault benefits. I was involved in a car accident 2 years ago and lost my leg, resulting in weight gain and the need to stabilize my weight to bear prostheis. My doctor wants me to surgery and scheduled an appointment with the clinic weight loss.

Probably not. It's pretty bloody hard to prove that your caloric intake did not cause weight gain.

Probably not.

no

You must have a lawyer and your car insurance company should have already settled. If you have already received a payment and signed a document, you can not go back and ask for more.

It is very doubtful. Very doubtful.

no srry

I doubt it. Maybe your insurance will pay for it?

No, they will not. If the doctor document that surgery is medically necessary, then you can claim as a medical deduction on your tax return, but only the portion that exceeds 7.5% of your adjusted gross income is deductible.

Talk to a representative of an insurance company. This is too serious to seek the advice of others. Only the insurance company knows what is in your policy. Not all insurance policies have the same insurance coverage.

I do not think, but why not call your insurance company and ask them?

I doubt they cover this type of surgery. If you really think that's a possibility, call your insurance company and ask. Good luck.

Highly unlikely. Most insurance See bariatric surgery as cosmetic or elective, in order not to pay for it.

I had a gastric bypass in April 2005. I started at 268, 180 and now I'm holding, after a year and 7 months. These links help you in many ways to make a decision if this is for you or not. I vote yes, because it makes such a difference in my life. I took 8 tablets per day, and after my surgery, I lost my diabetes. The way to do the surgery, takes your diabetes away. I no longer take Glucophage, and I have high cholesterol or hypertension. I'm two tablets per day. I have gone from size 26-28 to 16-18.
