Getting graphic with images Std Think about it. What comes to mind when you hear the words sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)? For many, the graphic images of wounds, rashes, bumps and tastes come to mind, and you're just disgusted. Let it, this is not an easy topic to talk, let alone openly discuss what they look like. It is a taboo, it for sure.
In an educational context, you will not be subjected to graphic images. Instead, just like in school, there will be a number of diagrams and animated images to help get the point across. In addition to these photos, there will be captions, text bubbles, and tastes, you feel more comfortable. And unfortunately for most, it will make a mockery of the pictures.
Of course, there are the ultra-graphic photos where you can see the genitals with sores or rashes and loves. These pictures really hit home, because you could never imagine looking in the mirror, or you check and find something below the belt. And if you have a family doctor like mine, well, you're faced with these images at each visit as a constant reminder to practice safe sex. Yes, that's right, he showed me pictures of STDs, as a young man to remember what might happen if I did not "wrap."
It must be remembered, however, that while these images show the symptoms or what can happen if you had a sexually transmitted disease for an extended period of time. But they can be taken at face value. Even if you have the same symptoms as the photos, you must pass an STD test OFT. This is the only way to be 100% sure you have an infection.
Remember, this is a part of life, a rather unfortunate, but part of life anyway. Sexually transmitted diseases have been around for centuries, and will be around for years to come. Do not be a prude, you hear what is there, and what you might encounter. Take a look at some pictures of STDs, and be aware of what can happen if you have sex with an infected partner or if you practice unsafe sex. You might be surprised what you see, or you can be totally disgusted, but it's definitely worth the look.
