Signs Of Infertility

I was on birth control for 5 years and stopped 6 months ago. My husband and I are ready for a baby. I tried one of those ovulation calendars online, but every month, my cycle and lengthens the duration of my periods are usually 10-14 days. My parents both had problems with infertility and I conceived through in vitro fertilization, then I fear that this could happen. I am only 24, and most of my friends my age have 3 or 4 children. It seems that if other people my age can have babies so easily, I should be able to as well. I do not have health insurance for a couple more months to see a doctor is not an option at this point.

Have you noticed that you were more regular basis right after stopping birth control? If so that could be the key. I am regularly (or near) the first 3-4 months out of control after the birth that my cycles getting longer and more uneven. I had the best luck in trying as soon as I stopped taking the pill.

Your parents know why they had problems with infertility? You can tell if the problems there could be genetic or not.

You do not really know until you try though.

The answer definet you can get is a doctor. I think you should just wait until you get your insurance, but do not despair ... it takes a year to try to definitively know that you have some sort of medical problem, sometimes timing is a question for us all and do not have the same body so all of us are differnet reason on which we can or can not get pregnant and you are very young so do you stress, stress can cause too ... and God bless!

If you do not have health insurance for a couple of months DO NOT TRY to get pregnant! You should regularly consult a physician througout your pregnancy to ensure that things go well. Wait until you have insurance. Until the beginning of taking prenatal vitamins. Each person is different when it comes to getting pregnant. Some people take years while others everytime pregnant sex. Do not compare yourself to someone else. You never know you could get pregnant right away. I wish you good luck.
