Shoulder Surgery Procedures

Shoulder Surgery ProceduresShoulder surgery?

Hello all

I had a shoulder athriscopic procedure done 4 years ago now, been a while, where I had dislocated shoulder recorrente, literally shaking hands he dislocated.

They used a thermal probe to reduce the capsule and ligaments tighten, and if I remember I put pins in.,

I am a worrier to a degree and constantly afraid that my shoulder is dislocated at some point, and I'm in a new role that I like and if something were to happen I'd be worried demoted or reduced salary as Whats happened to my companion recently.

I saw my doctor and they usually do anything unless the shoulder was going, and the private labor is expensive.

Has anyone had this surgery before and what is the success rate or chance of dislocation, what can I do to avoid, as I do not go to football and I look for excuses for evening something happens just incase, but im hating it right now

Thank you all
Steve

Steve, the honest answer is that nobody is going to fit in a shoulder that does not give any problems. Take advantage of shoulder and instead of worrying about doing something with it. They should have shown you range of motion exercises and strengthening movements. Return to them and really focus on strengthening the muscles that stabilize the shoulder. Work on the movement of internal and external rotation that they will strengthen the shoulder and make it more stable. Consult your doctor or therapist about it. The simplest is to lie on the side with a pillow between your ribs and elbow. Take the arm and keep the elbow at 90 degrees. Keep a can of soup and bring the arm on your stomach against the highest position by turning it not withdrawn. Do this ten times. Lie on your back with the pillow still between the ribs and elbow and rotate the arm on the ground in the stomach. Again this ten times. If there are no problems of pain starts to make a second and possibly a third. The increase sets should not be fast and should be a period of two weeks. Once it becomes easy to increase the resistance factor of two books and slowly increase the new sets. Continue until you have around five pounds. At this stage, the shoulder should begin to feel stronger.
