Severe Sunburn Treatment

Severe Sunburn TreatmentThe treatment of a severe sunburn?

I have a very severe sunburn on my shoulders and upper back - it is very painful. It started healing (hardly). It is very irritating and the top layer of the skin is dry and starts to flake. The itching is my CRAZY! Is it okay to exfoliate at the moment - although it will be painful and the skin underneath will be a little raw? (On a side note - I applied aloe every 2-3 hours for almost a week - I'm beyond that point.)

I saw the solution in line below. You just put warm water in a container with straight tap water and put the bag at T in water for 10 minutes.

The absolute best solution for the relief of sunburn itching, in my experience, is to warm tea (I used Lipton), soak a cloth in the tea and wring out the excess, then put the damp cloth flat on the burned areas. This provided an almost immediate relief for me when I got the worst sunburn in my life, and after several requests for this bit of tea, the itch was gone permanently! Cheap, effective and totally organic, what more?
