Qmb139 Question about replacing a clutch on a scooter brand with an outboard motor QMB139? I have one brand of scooters, the clutch is bad, I'm looking for a new, but most people sell without the clutch cover. How do I know if mine is bad? And should I go ahead and replace the clutch cover? Should not really need the coverage. The bits that wear out are the ones they sell, and which generally do not cover. Although she is deeply scored or pitted, it will still work correctly. This is not like a cylinder, which is racing piston up and down inside all the time, and it's not like a manual clutch that is easier to abuse. Posted on March 13, 2010.
