I am looking for scriptures that deal with prosperity, financial problems, tithes, first fruits? when the economy is bad and try to have faith in God, when some people telling me (gas is expensive, it's going up). I want to avoid that would mean to me. They are always negative and that the gossip and be in business. Some of them are co-workers. I just do my job. It is hard to avoid hearing the negative rhetoric.
I am also interested in you recommend good Bibles. Most Bibles I see is difficult to understand. I want to know what is a bible concorndance Is it worthwhile for me to have one. Thank you.
It is difficult to avoid the negative aspects if it is great that you try to overcome all that and that is what is important.
I wish I could copy and paste the entire book, it's called "Your money matters" by Howard Dayton. It is a great book that teaches the Bible tells us how to manage our finances, including problems of debt. I highly recommend it. I would say a check from the library, but you'll be in underlining and writing things in it in no time it is best to have your own.
Another book that I intend to pick up for me, but I had not had the chance (whose book I mentioned lists of reference), "Money, Possessions, and Eternity "by Randy Alcorn. It's got many great reviews so I will check it.
As for Bibles, first find a translation that makes more sense for you. Personally, I like the NIV.
A Bible concordance is like a huge table of context of the Bible that lists each word in the Bible alphabetically and each word is used (it should also explain the meaning). There is nothing wrong with having one of your own, they are useful to search Scripture containing certain words. Bibles many small concordance in the back. Rather than a true Bible is a tool to help you study the Bible.
There are many online Bible concordance you can use for free.
I own "Nave Topical Bible" which is an important research tool. It is like a match, but much more information in my opinion. Here it is free online use:

In addition, another impressive research tool is the Bible plan. This is a Bible in broad terms that makes it easy to learn and explain to others. I have the book, but it seems that you update: the download for a fee.

The important thing to understand is that one of these tools, you should have a "regular" to refer to the Bible as well. If you want a good study Bible I highly recommend Quest Zondervan's Bible study:

There is a helpful explanation of the Scripture, and some "articles" that attempt to explain the difficult questions (eg "Can believers fall?").
What are some things in my personal library. Naturally, prayer, guidance of the Holy Spirit and wisdom of the Lord is your best aid to learning and understanding of the Word.
If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.
many blessings for you! :)
Scripture does not teach prosperity for a believer. Scripture actually says the believer will be tough moments.
Tithing is a commandment of the Old Covenant and as such, should not be applied to Christianity. A tithe is a tenth of the increase in production and livestock only. Nobody was.
