Polyvinyl Acetate Phthalate

I really Tickly coughing and headaches and I want to take some cough syrup cons for Benylin cough with Nurofen liquid capsules for headaches. I just want to make sure I can take them together. The ingredients (I wrote that I know the ingredients are chemicals, not things like glucose) are detailed below.

Cough syrup cons:

sodium benzoate, ethanol, propylene glycol.

Nurofen: polyethylene glycol 600, potassium hyrdoxide, Ponceau 4R, titanium dioxide, propylene glycol phthalate, polyvinyl acetate, polyethylene glycol 400, inbuprofen.
