Pediatric Advanced Life Support Test

Prerequisites

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is designed for health care providers, including nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists and emergency personnel. Each of these specialties has its own requirements for education, licensure and / or certification. Before starting a course of PALS, you usually need to show current certification in Basic Life Support / CPR (BLS / CPR). Some PALS courses offer the opportunity to renew a lapsed certification BLS CPR / during PALS.

Prevention / Solution
