Peak Flow Normal Values Is it associated with asthma or something else? for 4 days ive had some trouble breathing, I feel that I cannot catch my breath at times when I take deep breaths or deep breathing tightness little feeling that I just cannot catch my breath .. no wheezing involved. . Ive been checking my peak flow and that between 450-500 when I was in the emergency room and got 450 dr said it was normal thats hasn't been amended its consitantly 450-500 before it started I neither had a severe allergy attack or a cold I had a runny nose stuffy nose sneezing ear pressure headache and then after everything collapsed thats when it started Now I have the headache, breathing problems with drunkenness and ear pressure both for two nights, I tried my rescue inhaler and na seem to make a difference and I just tried again when I woke up and didn't make a huge difference, I do not feel all the time but here's a good majority of the day after taking the inhaler I checked my peak flow was always the same value. You could actually be having an early pneumonia. The symptoms you describe may be an acute asthma or bronchitis. Sounds like anxiety reaction. While the answer to a question, but perhaps you were cleaning shortly before the attacks, or doing laundry? My thought is that it may be more congestion in the chest. I would like to try some musenex to help empty so that you do end up haveing an asthma attach and gettinng bronchitis. the symptoms you describe could very well be anxiety. My brother was rushed to the emergency more than once, thinking he had an asthma attack (he had bad childhood asthma) and it was anxiety. Even with a peak flow of 450, you can have a shift in the airways. This infection may have been caused by a cold or even the aftermath of an allergy which has not been properly treated. I doubt that asthma related since you have a good airflow in your bronchial region. Posted on February 17, 2010.
