New Hampshire Healthy Kids Health & Dental Insurance For Single Mom? I am a single mother and I need to get health and dental insurance at a cost little or not at all. I have 2 children, both on gold healthy children. I am 46 years old. old and a smoker. I live in New Hampshire and own a house. Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help. The best way to do it for a single mother? Find a job that has health benefits included. You'll never be able to afford coverage otherwise. It may take a future upgrade of education. But it is so worth it! Private health insurance costs me $ 485 per month for my wife and me. This does not include dental care. Before you rush into everything, get the book "Healthcare for Less" by Michelle Katz ... there are things you might not know choosing a health insurance plan that will affect the cost such the CAP, preventive medicine, places, institutions participating ... the book will guide you through the process and define the terms for you and help you choose a great doctor. I chose to be part of SAH after reading the book is great for someone like me and my family healthy ....... I plug the book at Barnes and Noble, after being so frustrated about the options and process. It really cleared things for me. I heard that it is also available on www.amazon.com for less ... I bought it for $ 15.95 .... I hope it helps. You probably already know about the health state of New Hampshire plans such as those of your children less, but I have included links below for a description of who is eligible, the eligibility requirements, more documents required to verify eligibility for the Department of Health and Human Services programs.
