If a woman suspects she is pregnant while taking Lupron, she should contact her doctor immediately.

Endometriosis and Lupron treatment was approved by the FDA, but, before determining whether this treatment is good for you, it is essential that you first need to know the advantages and disadvantages of Lupron before making your decision and consult your doctor for more information and recommendations.

The postive side effects - Although Lupron can relieve pain during the treatment, its purpose is to relieve the considerable pain for several years. A clinical trial found that over 60% of women who have suffered from mild endometriosis who participated in the study were symptom free for five years after stopping treatment. On the other hand, a little over 25% of women who have suffered from severe endometriosis had the same success.

The negative side effects - The following are the negative side effects that may arise from endometriosis and Lupron treatment:

Many of the above symptoms mirror the symptoms of menopause, which is expected especially during treatment, because of low levels of estrogen in the body.

Some women think that Lupron and endometriosis is a dangerous combination. Many women who received injections claim to have suffered serious side effects such as cardiac arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), chest pain, confusion, depression, bone pain, loss of vision, extreme fatigue, and pressure pressure. Some women claim that these side effects have lasted for a prolonged period of time after treatment was stopped.

However, Lupron is considered an effective and safe medical treatment for endometriosis, and most women who undergo treatmen.
