When I do not get enough sleep, I know that I became manic. When I get too much sleep, I know I must be depressed or I just "crashed" after several sleepless nights. EXTREMELY! Patterns in general are a good thing to enter if you have this condition. Sleep in general balances your body, and you can set a sleep pattern that ensures your body is a good amount of it, your mood will generally be better. its important for everyone, but especially people with bi-polar.
