Life After Smoking Do I see a screening of nicotine for life insurance after smoking two cigarettes in the past seven years? I stopped smoking in 2002 and said such information on an application for life insurance in recent years. Last Saturday I was at a wedding with some old friends and had two cigarettes outside with them (which by the way, my mouth felt horrible the next day). Do I see the evolution of life? I have to test next week (it has been 12 days). I am sure you will be allowed. Nicotine usually hangs around the body for only a few days. In addition, you can always say that you back on the "patch" for a few days because of some desires difficult. Good luck! Do not delay. Nicotine stays in your blood for 5-7 days. You'll find. Delaying life is not a good idea of insurance. Just give the period of smoking. It is not helpful to look back on it! Posted on March 19, 2010.
