Knee Replacement Operation

Knee Replacement OperationMy sister was told by her doctor that she needs a knee replacement operation.?

She is 61 years. Could someone help by explaining the procedure or the transmission of their experiences on the operation and the duration of the payback period is. Thank you for your reply. Thank you.

My aunt had it. His knee was so painful and it started to fall much. She dreaded the surgery and it was painful, but his knee is now much better, it is not without pain, but much better. Now it needs the same operation on his other knee.

The recovery time for her in terms of being self-sufficient and less painful was about six months. She was 75 when she had surgery.

Hope this helps and good luck to your sister!

my mother had her knee op three years ago. the knee is replaced by a ball and socket arificial. My mother was 70 when she had done. it restricts your movement or you can not bend the knee as normal Bend your knees. Overall, the pain goes artheritic and the knee needs to get used to. I assume that your sister is much younger than my mother, so I hope his recovery rate, etc. will be much faster. Overall, it is worth it if u have no other choice. Best wishes to your sister.

I am a paramedic and I saw that the new replacement doing very well. There is not much time down and the pain disappeared.

Firstly I will not do surgery without getting a second opion, and see a bone specialist as it may have, but everyone is different, it depends on many things, age, which is 61, 2, sister of health on all of you, she did something wrong as major dias heart or something else? My aunt had endorsed two years ago, she was 72, but after his first step 3 years later, she had to have the other leg done. The doctor did the surgery, my aunt was up to 6 hours walk around later. She has more of everything, but everybody has different depends on many different veriables. must go and take care.

I have not had this done, but my gramps has.He had done 8 years ago.

He said he wishes he had never been to! He can not bend his knee and is in constant pain: (He must wear patches morphine and uses a TENS machine on a regular basis.

It's just that experience, I am sure other people have made a positive experience x

A neighbor is 66 and had both knees done last summer at the same time. She had what is called a knee "total" and very, very well. One of the keys to its success is that it has phys treatment in hospital and dieted on her return home. She also swam and did water treatment. It is now nine months for her, and she said that the only thing she can not do is to kneel. I was at a function at the American Legion last week and saw her dancing is what I think is the jitterbug with her husband, and not slowly. SIS Hope is very good.

I was 47 when I had my new knee! best thing that happened 2 me it is obviously painful for a few days, but is kept under control with analgesics, it is not wise to kneel after the replacement, but again I could not before.tell your sis to go for it with positive feelings and tell him good luck

My wife told me she wants a new Jaguar car, but it does not get
