Knee Medicine

Knee MedicineWhat is a good drug for pain and swelling of the knee?

I have arthritis, my knee swells and becomes painful. I take Aleve, but I do not work as much. Does anyone know of a better medicine or perhaps a better method of treating the symptoms?

Depending on whether it is from arthritis or if there is a drop component will depend on what you take. Some people are allowed to take ibuprofen (Motrin / Advil) for the function of the state of their stomachs (which can cause gastro-intestinal), they are still using low doses of Celebrex against the arthritis too. It might be time to talk with your doctor about the need to move to more powerful drugs. In addition, a walking program (although painful at first) has been demonstrated, ultimately, reduce pain, swelling and discomfort of arthritic knees. You may want to consider adding this also to your daily routine.

I had steroid injections in the mine several times over the years that last long enough. I take Arthotec prescription, but now have to detach them. My husband takes her to Naproxin. You should talk to your doctor.
