I need help. I live in Ohio ... Can not find a doctor who really takes me seriously. Having cancer and kidney stones had since I've been here 10 months ~ tok me eight months to findd a primary care physician. They refuse to see me for a night or twoo lost in a hospital and there are days I can not move. This is not a joke. Doctors are quesrionable w / regard to their expertise. I had two refuse to treat me, and that referralks iswith ER Docs. Each day that passes, my body takes a larger hit by the weakness cuased not catch things in time. I have a clear reading on cancer now, and has on the kidneys, but I am so swollen and the pain, I think I relapsed. I had to write the governor. (No response)! I'm using good medical attention and I am not here to receive. All comments please, I'm serious. I am educated and have an IQ of 175, what I read and used kidney.org. ~ They were great. Answers Please? And no BS I am in need.

The last couple of details, it seems to suggest that you lose your composure. Please do not do that. Not good for you or your credibility. Do not let the doctors get your goat, but do not let them get away, either. You say that you are accustomed to good medical care, and do not receive it here (Ohio, no?). Is it possible to get in touch with doctors where you usually live? If they send copies of your records for those where you live now, maybe they will do more. Do they say why they did not? I am particularly shocked by the two who refused to treat you the referral of the ER. What is their excuse? It seems they had an obligation to at least tell you why they could not treat you and refer you to someone who could.

PS: If it is to travel to get good treatment, the University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor is really very good. This is where I went to school in the 1970s, and they had a reputation there. Presumably they are still very good.

I am really sorry for you. I think your best bet would be to move to a state which has better medical care. I myself am a cancer patient and I get excellent medical care in Boston. I feel privileged to be able to receive care that I do because we have the top Dr. in the world here. if you can afford, move. or enter Univ general mass or Brigham and Women's in Boston. See if you can contact a doctor or other of those who are willing to treat you if you came. send your medical records with your application. There are many here that Dr. would probably on your case as a case of education. we have so many medical schools here that almost every hospital has a curriculum linked to the gymnasium. they may even be able to provide treatment at lower cost. good luck and good bless.
