Hip Labral Tear Surgery

Hip Labral Tear SurgeryHip labral tear surgery ---?

I was diagnosed with a labral hip tear and my long distance runner. Currently, I can run through pain, but it bothers me in the day after my run. The next season of skiing is very important to me, and I want to do this, but if I continue to run on my tears, is it worse? Would I be better off having the surgery now so that I can work well in the fall? And if anyone has had the surgery, how long it was until you could run?

Unfortunately, this may be the best forum to answer your question.
you hip labral tear (assuming obvious on MRI?) and its treatment are still controversial in the orthopedic community. people are just beginning to make a hip arthroscopy more. and one thing that can be worked on this procedure is arthroscopic labrum. the injury or problem has not been treated much the same, say 5 years ago.
I would like to receive notice at least two surgeons. while getting their take on your injury, ask them how many fields they have hip .... there are not many people out there with a lot under the belt.
