MarketplaceHip Bone Anatomy Does anyone know a place that anatomy models of complete repair of human skeletons? The screw that goes in the top of the hip bone that attaches to the pelvis was broken with a portion of it still embedded in the hip bone, so it's not just a matter of gluing the screw back because the bone is too heavy for that. So the thread that connects the arm to the shoulder broken. Does anyone know someone who can repair a plaster skeleton? I know a guy who runs a department of physics that would be able to do so without any problem. Check around and you are more likely than not going to find someone who builds small-scale models of some kind and steady hands and patience to do so. Whatever it does you will probably need to drill in nearly broken screw to release it and get a grip on it. Then just drill new screw up in a little later and be like new. The wire should be a fix even easier. Posted on February 22, 2010.
