Herbs For Restless Leg Syndrome How do I get sleep. I have restless legs syndrome and take REQUIP, but it does not work. Other ideas? I also have diabetes and take Cal-Meg and iron for anemia. I tried hot showers, soothing lotions, sleeping pills, and even tried smoking pot. It works at first, but does not last too long. Are there any herbs or teas I might consider? I just made an appointment with an acupuncturist. I hope she can help me. As you can see, I'm open to suggestions. Please help me sleep a little. Try drinking a glass of tonic water before bed. Tonic water has quinine in it, which is an effective treatment for RLS. I recommend sleeping in a chair so you can adjust the height of your legs and torso. This allows my mother.
