Heart And Stroke Recipes

Heart And Stroke Recipescreative ways to cook healthier for picky eaters?

My husband is trying to lose 40 pounds. and as he has strong family history of heart disease and stroke, I really need to get on board and support it. The problem is that he and the children are very picky eaters who are not fans of vegetables. Recipes also welcome. Thank you in advance.

This is not a recipe per se, rather a way of Richen food and sauces with lots of vitamins and minerals that nobody knows.

1 yellow and 1 zucchini, 1 red onion, 1 pepper, 1 can diced tomatoes with juice, 1 can of green beans, salt and pepper. Whether it simmer over low heat until they are soft. Then put it in a Processer food, use an immersion blender, or put in a blender until smooth. I put that in organic tomato sauce, rice, under the tomato sauce on pizza, what I can.

Make a time and just try it. I even put in the ketchup and she has no idea.

If your family likes spaghetti, serve on the side of chicken breasts or fish.
Cook the vegetables in tomato sauce or puree if it is hidden. Make whole grain muffins with zucchini or carrots or broccoli.
Try vegetables served with ketchup and fittings in good health.
Good luck.

Probably the best way to have healthy stuff in your husband and children is to hide vegetables in their diet. Try chopping carrots and tiny mushrooms (about 5mm cubes) in a lasagna or grated carrots makes a nice sauce when mixed with mince / chopped tomatoes & etc. can not be selected! Just use a regular cheese grater. You can also substitute mashed potatoes carrots and parsnip puree - just boil & mash as usual. It will be bright orange, but if they can go beyond that is really sweet and tasty and you never have to tell them what's inside!

Otherwise try smaller portions of food regularly and follow with a large fruit salad. There must be some fruit or vegetables they like experience fairly. Most children like corn or bananas. Also you can try making your own smoothies with their breakfast - banana and strawberry is a nice sweet to try, just add a little apple juice cartoned and pop in blender. Also I like to slice Apple and pop in the oven.
