Eczema Remedies

Eczema RemediesEczema remedies?

I know there is no cure for eczema, but my boyfriend has really bad this winter. He refused to go to the doctor, I think, because he does not trust them to really help ... Long story. Anyway, there nonprescription remedies that will help the itching, rashes, etc.? He just wants to take Benadryl, and I still say put a little lotion or cortisone thereon. All measurements are all natural too, it is not the biggest fan of "medicine". Any help is greatly appreciated!

As a patient looong time eczema heres what I do (and it really helps):
aec First thing, get a humidifier for the house in winter. I can not live a withut! The dry air of winter makes eczema worse.
aec Next, try Aveeno cream with menthol in it. It mosurizes skin, and menthol cool any burning and helps stop the itching immediately.
aec Then, tell him not to take a hot shower. The hot water makes it worse.
aec In addition, some foods can be very painful. Watch what they eat and whether to break the bad outings after 1 thing, reduced (for me, I can not have too much dairy, no burst).
aec change of sheets up liquid, washing the body, shampoos, etc.
aec Drink plenty of water, hot water is best, and since its raw drinking water boiled to make tea or add a little lemon to it. I know it sounds weird, but drinking warm water (not coffee or hot chocolate though) does help.
aec And Aveeno baths otmeal do wonders for a rainy day.

From the top of my head, that's what I do in winter to relieve my eczema, it may be useful!

oatmeal is good for her, but they have eczema creams cons of babies. Adults can use

My children have eczema and the doctor says it's the best. After he takes a bath there is a rule 3min (not completely dry) it needs to put on Vaseline, and wear tube socks and clothes covered with wet skin. The problem occurs when the skin dries out, so the best thing is to catch it before it dries. If it does not use Vaseline, it can use AVEENO, Aquaphor or Eucerin well, but I was told vaseline is the best. So winter is the worst time of year to eczema and therefore needs to be well hydrated. Also use a soap that does not dry the skin like a dove (white bar) Do not use lotion !!!!!!!!!! He said that is what the dry skin first. Good luck!

I used to have eczema when I was little .... Try to use unscented laundry detergent and soap unscented for sensitive skin .... This can reduce irritation and try to use "sudocreme" or "Penaten" cream.
But .... honestly ... go see the doctor ... Eczema is just ... It's not like the doctor will do his rash worse ... All physicians are full towers.

Repcillin is something new in the United States, it has been used in China for years but was brought here in the recent past.
You can get it on eBay or Yahoo store: http://store.africancures.com

It is much better than petroleum jelly, it contains oil crocodile and beeswax, the itching should subside within a few minutes to apply the balm. It is 100% natural and works like a charm .....

good luck with it!

I am also very skeptical when I see doctors also ... maybe its better to see a dermatologist who specializes in skin if it gets worse. Some doctors do give you a medication (pills usually have side effects if it is really bad) ... I would try to avoid it, unless it has no side effects (Aerius and act as Benadryl antihistamine it is correct). To see them would be the last thing I think to do ... because they will tell you the nice Sat
