Diaper Rash Ointment

Diaper Rash OintmentWhat kind of diaper rash ointment do I use with cloth diapers?

Until now, my youngest has not erupted in an eruption of wear cloth diapers at night with plastic pants. If it does, I want to know what kind of diaper rash ointment to use. Is there a cheap brand that lightens skin rash and not ruin the diapers? I know Desetin is not good for cloth diapers, because it makes them stink.

I always used only one brand of cheap zinc oxide which is what the main ingredient of any diaper cream really is. It is.
It forms a barrier between skin and urine. I also used it myself if I was any friction to be like rubbing sweat from your bathing suit. He also made a complete sunscreen, but you really need to rub it in.
I got a big pot of it at my local store for about 2.00

Why did you vote for that person best answer? You should not use zinc on the CD. You should have voted as the best answer xl123. Half of those who responded have never used cloth diapers and have no idea how other products are in your investment. More AIOS a size of $ 17 - $ 20 a pop. Report Abuse

Ointments containing petroleum products should not be used with cloth diapers because they are waterproof.

I like Burt's Bees cream layers. It's kind of expensive (about $ 8 per tube), but I use it so rarely that the factor is not a cost. I also used a brand that I am out of the Internet called Baby Bottom better. It is made from calendula, olive oil and beeswax. (Just a tip, olive oil alone can work well.) If your baby does get a rash, another option is to get diaper liners flushable protecting the ozone layer and use an ointment layer regular. Caldesene powder contains zinc oxide, but doctors are steering away from the parents of these powders days. I do not know the verdict on this.

Babies in cloth diapers do not usually have problems with rashes, so I hope you are lucky and never need anything.

My son had terrible diaper rash swollen. I used layers dear, I've changed often, and I allowed him to air during the day without diapers. I could not get rid of his diaper rash, no matter what. I was terribly embarrassed about it and, of course, my doctor thought I was probably just not change it as I should. I used all the different diaper rash ointment (even had a pharmacist mix a particular type) and nothing has worked. Then finally, a family member told me about the cornstarch! Yes, just good old corn starch sold in the baking section of grocery stores. Extremely cheap and it cleared up instantly (within a day or two). Since then, every time I saw him become red or irritated I used cornstarch and never had a diaper rash yet. To this day, and it is 5 if the background becomes red erase bad I use it and it goes very well. So please, please try cornstarch because it saved me.

I used balmex occasionally when needed, and never smelled ... (Out of the ordinary:))

I have only 'a' to use it once when a little roll of fat was annoyed, and authorized by a W / day Balmes - cornstarch, A & D, vaseline and triple antibiotic n ' has not worked - and one of the above generally does

Just an FYI if - when traveling by car for more than 30 minutes - I always use a little Vaseline to keep the humidity, but I also line dry at least once a week - I am not disturbed by the accumulation of oil

What kind of diapers do you use? I use prefolds, have a Happy Heiny and even using anything, it stinks

PS - you can try dapper layer cover - it is extremely cheap and served me better than proraps - $ 3 each - babybestbuy.co.
