Causes Of Night Sweats

My BF had terrible night sweats. He will wake up completely flooded and the bed will be soaking wet on his side. What causes this? We turn the water heater 65 when we go to bed and I've never sweat like this. Sometimes we even change the sheets in the middle of the night. Any idea what is causing this?

Your BF has checked his thyroid? Hyperthyroidism can cause night sweats. Definitely tell him to test for TSH (thyroid STIM. Hormone). His doctor can do. At the same time, it should try wick pajamas at night. My husband has the same problem .. he got his line to Cool-jams. Report Abuse
