Buteyko Breathing Technique

I've decided to Ohio next month and attend a workshop that teaches the Buteyko breathing technique. Has anyone with asthma or other respiratory problems tried this method of breathing? I understand he has been very beneficial, especially for children with asthma.

We had our son do a workshop 2 years ago. His asthma attacks have been severe and have been increasingly frequent and medications to treat the attack would give such a rapid heartbeat it took so long for the drug sale because it neither asthma attack. Make Buteyko was the best thing we could do.

Do not get caught up in theory, personally, I think they had the wrong theory. The theory is what holds back Buteyko general acceptance. Who cares why it works? I saw evidence of my own eyes - it works!
