Does anyone know what Suzanne Summers received treatment for breast cancer she had? Suzanne Summers had breast cancer and according to all reports, she is cancer free now. (She was diagnosed in 2001). I wonder what the cancer treatment she received from others? My sister has breast cancer, and we are looking at alternative treatments. Thank you!
I agree with quijjibored most people who make claims for cancer of the miraculous "cure" also had conventional treatment, but demand - and I think - it was an alternative treatment they who also took the case. This is apparently the case of Suzanne Summers.
Please keep in mind that the other word in this context means "not proven". If a drug has been tested and proven to work, it is more "alternative medicine" is just "medicine".
Wherever there is cancer there are people willing to separate desperate people from their money in exchange for treatments ineffective and sometimes dangerous.
If you are tempted by a private "alternative", please do a search on http://www.quackwatch.org some facts before investing money, hope and (most dangerous all the time) in something that does not work, thus delaying effective treatment.
It is not possible that Suzanne Summers or any other breast cancer patients may find they are "free of cancer - breast cancer can occur at any time, even years after diagnosis and treatment.
The conventional treatment is not perfect, far from it, but we know - because it has been rigorously tested and proven in double-blind peer clinical trials - that saves many lives and much more prolonged. No other treatment "has been tested and proven in this way.
I sympathize with your desire to pursue alternative, less traumatic, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003, something I was passionate about alternatives. Nobody is going to give chemotherapy ME! I researched in depth and in the space of one month had changed his mind, knowing that other treatments are not only ineffective, but a multi-million pounds to take my money.
