Best Sinus Medicine

Best Sinus MedicineWhat is the best medicine sinus drainage to dry up?

I've been using Sudafed 12 hours, but I think I'm immune because I get sinus infections so often. Any other / better suggestions for OTC medicines and sinuses?

In my personal experience, pseudoephedrine (which is in Sudafed) is the best I found. The problem with this does not work for you is that there may be a different process now produces - Sudafed works by tightening vessesl blood in the nasal passages, reducing the production of liquid, causing the effect drying.

Other things that can happen:
1. Infection - Sinusitis is common and where appropriate, a course of antibiotics would be beneficial.
2. Allergy - another common problem for which you can try OTC loratadine (Claratyne) or cetirizine (Zyrtec). Rhinocort nasal spray is effective as an allergy med, but you may need a script.
3. An underlying immune deficit - will require a doctor to verify this, but certainly less frequent than 1 or 2. Immunodeficiency can often present with frequent infections of the sinuses.

claritene is good. But if you can not get over your sinuses I go to the doctor and get vaccinated alleregy.
