Baby Formula Dispenser Can I bring baby formula powder in a plane? I do not know if I have to make the bottles in advance and refrigerate or not? I was going to put the formula in one of these distributors in plastic and put the empty bottles so I would not have to worry about keeping them cold, but can I do that? What is the best way forward? No safety guidelines say anything that concerns only the milk powder on board? You can take liquid or powder in an airplane. If you are traveling with a baby, you are allowed to bring milk formula. you can choose whatever you prefer, powder or liquid. Umm I did when I flew with my son, but that was six months ago .... Just call the airport ... When I flew, they told me not liquid, but the babys milk etc. I also just called the airport to check with them. Good Luck Check with the airline .... but they make allowances for baby formula. When you go through security ... they will probably check the bottles to ensure they are not some toxic liquid ... they do not really open it, a buffer around them and in the diaper bag. Infant formula is allowed. If you're afraid of being arrested because you are a carrier wave of a white powder, they are single serving size packages of many brands of formula, they are individually sealed, so you would not have to worry about explaining what it is. And flight attendants will give you water on the plan and even the heat for you. Request a sample size of powdered from your pediatrician - they should have. (My concern is not the powder be in original container - they could give you a problem with it.) But I think it's a good idea to put the empty bottles and the powder and no not worry about the liquid. (Mix it in terms of bottled water and buy water when you get to the place where you go - sounds like a plan to me!) It depends on Ariport you go. I went to one that does not allow for liquid milk expect command I had to show my baby to see whether or not I really neded. The graud shook and tested and my milk was surprisingly normal milk not poisonous! Write airport a call using their hotline phone number and check theres on the net! (Hope this helps!)
