Asthma Spacer

I have to give my 15 months old son Ventolin via a spacer with mask those thingy and every time I try to give it to him, he will not still himself and became severely distressed and i cannot get him, someone one there advice on how to get the Ventolin him a little easier, btw it's just him and me, if i cannot get someone else to maintain it for me if you please help
