Anxiety Treatment

Anxiety Treatmenttreatment of anxiety?

I suffer from anxiety caused by stress at work. In fact, I developed a few years ago and recently returned full force after a career change. This affects my blood pressure I can say because I feel mostly like I'm in a state of heightened anxiety (tight chest) on the point of attack, if I'm at work or not.

I read the beta-blockers are used for anxiety, but when I asked a question on people last night said that this is not what I'm talking to my MD about. Others, he said. I'm confused. What is the best treatment for an anxiety disorder like that?

All anti-depressants work for different people. Someone said you do not use Effexor However, it is one of the best. I only stopped because of weight gain. I had anxiety and depression for years I took Xanax for years and yes I know they are addictive, but I use them as prescribed and they keep me where I need to be mentally, I I used several anti-depressants. I've been on Wellbutrin for quite some time now and he balances very well. The therapy also helps. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms and get help.

Whatever you do, do not go on Effexor XR for anxiety. they put me on it and the side effects worth Arnt

I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder about a year ago.

I was put on Lexapro for 6 months and have done well. I started to feel better about a week after starting treatment.

Side effects are pretty nasty though. In my case, Lexapro was really stiff, I had muscle pain, headaches and nausea. However, I felt better emotionally and in about three weeks the effects disappeared.

Now I'm starting to wonder if, in response to anxiety is more suitable for therapy. Although the product contributes significantly, I feel as if I became really addicted. I'm back on it for about 1 month.

In my opinion, responding to calls for anxiety medication to help you refocus your energy and therapy to actually treat the underlying causes of anxiety in the first place.

I have not really heard of beta-blockers are used to treat anxiety, so I can not comment on that.

You should definitely have your blood pressure and take immediate steps to control it. Diet and exercise are the most important aspects. Reduce your intake of caffeine, sugar and sodium, as far as possible.

I suggest trying natural treatments for anxiety and stress first. Breathing exercises, muscle relaxation exercises, visualization and modification are thought some of the most common natural remedies for anxiety attacks.
