After Bariatric Surgery

After Bariatric SurgeryCan you really have all the weight back after bariatric surgery?

I mean 100%? After how long? So why have the surgery? And what happens to the appearance of the skin if you had plastic surgery to get rid of excess skin after bariatric surgery once you win the weight back??

Yes you can. Surgery is a tool not a cure. You must be motivated to continue to monitor your diet and exercise.

My husband had surgery and it goes to a support group. There are two women there, who underwent surgery, then recovered. They never had plastic surgery. The reason they found was that they did not follow their diet and watch portions. They gradually expanded the pocket left by the surgery, until it is almost as great as before. They have both lost over 100 pounds only to regain control. The majority of the group maintained the weight loss. (My husband too.) You must make a conscious effort every day to eat properly and exercise. It feels good and never look back. He has lost about 130 pounds.

I had the surgery and go to a support group and right now I see people who make the weight again. I know a woman gain 80 pounds (150 pounds, she lost the source) I also know a man if a gain of 200 lbs. But this is not the majority of most of maintaining weight loss. The person who made the weight again follow the diet and believe that after the weight loss is all. Surgery is difficult, but more difficult is to maintain a healthy lifestyle style. The person I know that weight gain has not had plastic surgery.
