MarketplaceAdult Asthma Asthma in adults? Hello my aunt developed asthma after leaving Mexico to California. Recently, it has worsened. She developed a persistent cough and respiratory problems constantly. She has an inhaler, but it is ineffective. Her doctors are not sure how to cure or at least some relief. Is it the quality of air in California? She never had an asthma attack once in Mexico. For something someone experience like this? Thank you for your help in advance. People with asthma often wrong move to warmer and drier climates, where there is less allergenic. His trip to California has probably triggered a condition it has already because of the more allergenic and poorer air quality. Has she tried any drugs like Singulair or some other of those used to prevent it before it starts? There are also steroid drugs and other things - both spoken and type inhaler that can help a lot. I hope she can find relief soon! The move probably has something to do with it, but it would not necessarily in California. Has she checked her house mold? Not the normal mold that you see on the bathroom, but the guy who lives in the house or in the ceiling or behind walls. This type of mold can cause severe allergic reactions. I am in no way saying anything bad about your aunts Roach household dust also causes severe allergic reactions in some people. If the person who lives near her or who lived in his house before or had an infestation can cause him too many problems. There are many medications available to help cotnrol his asthma. There are strange things like, Advair, Pulmicort, etc. There is no cure for asthma but it can be managed with medication. Hope she finds the culprit and feels better soon.
