Abraham Lieberman What does "Judeo-Christian" gimmick of the religious right always uses? They say that if the Jews were one of their constituencies. They are not. Jews in general, consider themselves as liberals and vote Democratic. Over 90% of Jews vote Democrat Congress if you include independent Bernie Sanders and Joe Lieberman (who sides with Democrats most of the time). And why is it a political issue? Jews are those who nailed Christ to the cross !!!!! Have you already identified a (religious right) following the teachings of their savior? Jews and Christians believe in the Bible Old Testament (or the books of it), unlike the Islamists, who believe in the Koran instead. That most American Jews are liberals has nothing to do with it. Jesus himself was seen as a rabbi of his time until he was crucified, of course. The Old Testament in many places prophesies a Messiah, Christians and Jews just differ on whether Jesus was. What we liberals all go to hell for being atheists dirty. How ecumenical of you. However, most born again Christians would be offended to have the good name of their religion alongside Islam. Of course, it is logical because Christianity evolved from Judaism. Christians still read and believe in the Old Testament. Jesus (Joshua) was a religious Jew and so were all his followers. Paul (Saul) was a Jew and he almost single handedly created Christianity. Mary (Miriam) was Jewish and so was the father of Jesus, Joseph. The first disciples of Jesus were called galleons and they were all Jews and believed that Jesus was the Messiah. Your statement about the Jews do not believe in Jesus being the Messiah is absolutely false, at least at this time. Today, Jews are still awaiting the Messiah. For all they know, it may be Jesus. Many customs and laws by the original Christians believed in the Jewish laws. The Jews believe that God is a Supreme Being not humans, but the creator of the universe and everything in it. No, Jews do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. The early Jewish believers in Jesus was thought to be the Messiah, but it did not last because the world has not ended and no one went straight to heaven. Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the son of God. It may have been a prophet, but he went no further. Christianity arose from Judaism and Islam did not even around then. The Muslim religion began in 633 or thereabouts. Moreover, the Quran borrows much of the Talmud in Hebrew and other stories in Hebrew on the flood, Adam and Eve, etc., because Muhammad was captivated by the Talmud. Remember, Muhammad wrote the Quran over a thousand years after the old books have been written in Hebrew. This is not an answer to your question, I have one to add a word.
